Kings and Castles

Writer: Flamstead PreschoolFlamstead Preschool

We've had such a busy May at Preschool! Starting with the King's coronation, our little Kings and Queens made their own crowns and drums, and we all made some lovely sandwiches for a coronation tea party.

We've also been doing lots of learning around our story theme Jack and the Beanstalk. We've been practicing using our scissors with some leaf cutting, growing our very own beans, making beanstalks, using shaving foam to build castles in the clouds, and measuring how tall we are against our giant paper beanstalk.

Now that the lovely warmer weather is here we are spending lots of time playing outside in the sunshine! Please don't forget to send suncream and hats in with your little ones!
